Purple & Gold Service Award

    Established in 2025, the Purple & Gold Service Award honors alumni and supporters whose sustained and meaningful contributions have enriched the Albion College community. Through consistent engagement, they advance the mission of Albion College.

    Current faculty and staff may nominate alumni for this award. The deadline for the 2026 awards cycle is Jan. 15, 2026. Nominations will be reviewed by a staff selection committee, and recipients will be confirmed by the Office of Institutional Advancement and Office of the President. Recipients will be honored at the Alumni Awards Ceremony during Purple & Gold Weekend in April.

    Eligibility criteria:

    • Must have demonstrated at least 10 years of engagement with the College.
    • Engagement may include (but is not limited to):
      • Serving on boards, committees, or affinity groups
      • Mentoring students or recent graduates
      • Supporting and/or participating in College programs
      • Advocacy for the College
    • Must not be a current member of the Board of Trustees or Alumni Board or employed by the College at the time of selection.
